Crust Twitter Competition - Thank Goodness its Friday!! (16th July 2010)


1. Information on how to enter form part of these conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The competition will be conducted by Crust Gourmet Pizza Bars with assistance from Keep Left Public Relations.  Crust’s head office is located at Level 3, 159 High Street Prahran VIC 3181. Please contact Crust via (03) 9514 4000 or info@crust.com.au

3. Eligibility requirements (including minimum age of participants)
Entrants must live in QLD, ACT, NSW or VIC and be either within the delivery area of a store or able to pick up their pizza at one of Crust’s stores to be eligible. The pizza can be delivered to any location the winner choses provided this is within a store’s delivery area. The winner can also pick up his/her pizza from any store of his/her choosing.

Participants must be aged 16 and over.

4. How to enter

To enter the competition:

    *Participants need to first follow @Crust_pizza on Twitter
    * Second, they need to tweet a Twitter message on Friday 16 July before 4.00pm AEDT that must include the following elements:

1. [Participants story on why they are glad it is Friday]
2. @crust_pizza
3. #TGIF

5. Description and retail value of each of the prizes (including conditions, if any, relating to receiving, accepting or using the prizes)
At 4.00pm AEDT on Friday 16 July during the competition period, Crust will give away a free pizzas to each customers to be picked up or delivered to their home or work that day or night, depending on the chosen store’s open hours.
The pizza can be a large or an Upper Crust pizza.
Total retail value:  $25 (max) per pizza
Please note: All prizes for this competition are not transferable or redeemable for cash in any circumstance.

6. Closing and drawing dates and time for the receipt of entries in the lottery
The competition opens at 2.00pm AEDT on Friday 16 July and closes at 4.00pm AEDT on the same day, prior to the draw.

7. The place, date and time of the lottery draw
The winner will be chosen on Friday 16 July at Keep Left PR’s head office at 4.30pm AEDT.

8. The method used to decide prize winners
Between 4.00pm AEST and 4.30pm AEST on Friday 16 July, there will be a judging panel at Keep Left PR to review the entries and select the winning entries. The winners will be announced on Twitter as soon as they have responded to the DM notification.

9. The criteria used to decide prize winners
Entries will be judged for its uniqueness, humour, positivity and creativeness.

10. How prize winners will be notified (face-to-face, email, phone or mail)
The winner will be notified by Keep Left PR via Twitter (DM) by 4.30pm AEST on Friday 16 July..

11. How prizes will be awarded
Once the winner has been notified, Keep Left PR will liaise with the winner to check eligibility, determine the timing and location of the delivery or pickup according to the preference of the winner and the availability Crust’s stores. The delivery or pick up must take place over the weekend (Friday 16 July to Sunday 18 July). Entrants can have the pizzas delivered to a location within the delivery area of a store, or the winner can choose pick up his/her pizzas from any store of his/her choosing.

12. The method for claiming prizes (including requirement for entrants to be present at the draw)
To claim the prize, the winner must reply to the winner notification and accept the prize by 6.00pm AEST, as well as indicate their preference as to store and pizza flavours. If the winner does not respond by 6.00pm AEST, the prize will be void.

13. Whether results will be published and, if so, the way they will be published
The results will be published on the Crust Twitter page. Keep Left PR also reserves the right to publish the results, including a photo of the winner, in the media.

14. Whether the prize will jackpot or be redrawn if the winning player is not present or does not claim/cannot be found (must keep for 3 months if unclaimed)
Keep Left PR and Crust will make all reasonable efforts to contact the prize winner. If the prize winner is un-contactable or does not respond to accept the prize before 6.00pm AEST on the day of the draw, the prize will not be awarded.

15. Who cannot participate
Crust’s business directors, management and employees, their immediate families, their retailers, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible.

16. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Crust  reserves the right to change these terms and conditions as it sees fit, pending the authorisation of any necessary licensing bodies. If any changes are made Crust will notify the public via Twitter and the Crust website.


Twitter Free Pizza Friday Competition

The pizzas can be delivered to any location the winner choses provided this is within a store’s delivery area. The winner can also pick up his/her pizzas from any store of his/her choosing.

    * Second, they need to or tweet, a Twitter message on the Friday of the prize draw during the entry period from 12.01am AEST in the morning to 12 midday AEST.

At 12 noon AEST on Fridays during the competition period, Crust will give away five free pizzas to a customer to be picked up or delivered to their home or work that day or night, depending on the chosen store's opening hours.

The 5 pizzas includes:

* 5x pizzas (limit of 2x Upper Crust pizzas)

Total retail value:  $100

6. Closing and drawing dates and time for the receipt of entries in the lottery
The competition opens at 12.01am AEST on the Friday of the draw and closes at 12.00pm AEST on the same day, prior to the draw.

The winner will be drawn every Friday during the competition period at Keep Left PR’s head office at 12.00pm AEST.

8. The method used to decide prize winners
The winner will be chosen by random selection. All of the entrants will be recorded in an excel spreadsheet and the winner will be determined through the use of an approved random number generator. There will be no rounds of selection, only the single selection of the single winner.

9. How prize winners will be notified (face-to-face, email, phone or mail)
The winner will be notified by Keep Left PR via Twitter (DM) by 1pm AEST on the Friday.

10. How prizes will be awarded
Once the winner has been notified, Crust will liaise with the winner to check eligibility, determine the timing and location of the delivery or pickup according to the preference of the winner and the availablility Crust’s stores. The delivery or pick up must take place on the day of the draw before 10pm (local time) unless otherwise agreed by both Crust and the winner. Entrants can have the pizzas delivered to a location within the delivery area of a store, or the winner can choose pick up his/her pizzas from any store of his/her choosing.

Keep Left PR and Crust will make all reasonable efforts to contact the prize winner. If the prize winner is uncontactable or does not respond to accept the prize before 5pm AEST on the day of the draw, the prize that week will not be awarded. Instead, 2 winners will be chosen the following week.

Two of Crust’s VIPP members will be awarded with two Level 2 admission tickets each to the St Kilda Football Club finals Round 1 game vs Geelong on Friday 3 September, 2010 at 7.45pm at the MCG.

Prize value: $140 per package of 2 tickets

The winner and his/her guests will need to travel to the game at their own expense.
